Many see the pattern on the left as rotating. There is actually nothing spinning/rotating. We have "faith" in our senses and we can be wrong! This type of "faith" is based on passed experience and in fact it is not faith - it is expectation. For example: We expect the sun to rise every day. We have misused the concept of "faith" (in the Christian sense) to describe our past experience and what we expect will happen based on past experiences. In this pattern we expect that it would not rotate and yet it does seem to rotate, but it really does not rotate.
Christian "Faith" however does not rely on experience, expectation, science, or proof.
God asks us to have "Faith" in him, not our senses, experience, expectation or science. Christian "faith" allows us to accept God without question. It allows us to experience the love of God, the blessings we have, and the significance of being part of a Christian community.
